Palindrome rubs me the wrong way.
It’s not the meaning.
A reversible word? Take my money.
But the word itself.
Palindrome isn’t a palindrome.
It’s emordnilap in rewind. Gross.

After complaining for years about this lexicology misstep, I solved it myself.

Wordrow.

A term that practises what it preaches.
Word. In a row. Forward and backward.

Prayers have been answered.
Writers will unite.
The world can keep spinning, in any direction it likes.

Here it is in all it’s to-and-fro glory.
