I’ve been wanting to add some colour to my wardrobe for a while now.

So when Pantone announced Viva Magenta as the Colour of the Year for 2023, I took this as a sign from the colour gods.

But instead of adding yet another t-shirt my collection, I headed to the local launderette with a few white shirts and an old hat. I threw my ingredients in together like a stir-fry of ink and cotton and hoped for the best.
